Final European event on European diversity design for inclusive and personalised education – 4 June 2021

We kindly invite you to our “Final European event on European diversity design for inclusive and personalised education”, organised in the context of the Erasmus+ funded project Euroddip_e (European Diversity design for Inclusive Education) which will take place virtually on 4 June 2021. The project provides educational professionals with the required knowledge, tools and devices to assess the individual needs of each student and personalise the educational technological resources using ICT (allowing students learning through adapted interface, software, buttons, etc). As such, the project will provide children with preserved intelligence and physical disabilities (upper limb) a device and/or a technological application that is easy to use, affordable and with fast response, that provides autonomy in the accomplishment of their academic works, therefore, leading to greater school/educational success, self-esteem, and motivation of achievement, promoting their quality of life and reducing the burden on their families. COVID-19 and its impact on (inclusive) education

On 25 September 2020, PhoenixKM’s CEO Karel Van Isacker will be one of the panel members of the virtual “International scientific conference on philosophy of mind and cognitive modelling in education – PCE2020 – Plenary lecture”, starting at 10.00 a. m. CET. A detailed programme is available via the conference website. The virtual conference will address the impact of COVID-19 on the educational system in various EU countries. Our focus will be on Belgium and Bulgaria, and especially how it has impacted inclusive education. This event is organised by the University of Maribor, Slovenia. Following topics will be addressed for Belgium and Bulgaria: Overall situation regarding the pandemic in your respective countries. How has the pandemic affected schoolwork; what kind of solutions have you come up with; what has been the response? What kind of preparations have you made for the current school year, and how did you start the year?  What were the responses of the entire society and teaching profession to the proposed concept of school for the school year 2020/2021? Presentations will be followed by short discussions. Euroddip_e vragenlijst voor leerkrachten mbt inclusief onderwijs

Wij verzamelen momenteel informatie over de behoeften van leerkrachten om aandacht te besteden aan diversiteit in het lesgeven. Het onderzoek maakt deel uit van het Erasmus+ project “European diversity design for inclusive education” ( dat probeert bij te dragen tot de educatieve inclusie van kinderen met een beperking. We hebben een korte vragenlijst samengesteld via waarvoor wij graag uw medewerking hadden gevraagd. Er zijn geen goede of foute antwoorden, maar we vragen u om op een gewetensvolle en eerlijke manier te reageren op alle items om zo de beste resultaten voor ons onderzoek te behalen.
